Why are subsidies for the childminding pilot only for a maximum 10-hour block and only between 7am to 7pm on weekdays?
Childminding- General enquiry
The 10-hour block ensures that childminders can balance their work and personal commitments and needs.
Parents needing extended hours beyond the usual 7am to 7pm on weekdays, or more than 10 hours of care, can directly discuss additional care options with the operators. These will be based on operators’ regular rates.
