How can preschools apply for SPARK and what is the eligibility criteria?

Preschools who wish to apply for SPARK may do so in CMS. However, they should check that they meet the following eligibility criteria before application:

• The preschool has a license tenure of 24 months;

• The preschool has been in operation for at least a year;

• The preschool leader has been appointed in the preschool for at least 3 months;

• The preschool has ECDA registered teachers with valid Letter of Notification (LON) to facilitate children’s learning at every level;

• The preschool must meet the minimum enrolment numbers for all levels offered;

• The preschool’s curriculum is aligned to EYDF and NEL.
