When do parents need to re-apply for subsidies if they are currently receiving higher preschool subsidies under Special Approval that has not expired, with a household income of $6,000 or below (or per capita income of $1,500 or below)?
Subsidy - Application- Application process
Parents who are already receiving higher subsidies under Special Approval (SA) only need to submit a subsidy re-application upon the expiry of the SA.
If their family's household income is $6,000 or below (or per capita income is $1,500 or below) at the point of subsidy re-application, they can qualify for higher subsidies (comprising Basic Subsidy of $300 for full-day childcare programmes and means-tested Additional Subsidy) regardless of working status until the next point of assessment.
