What kinds of child management methods are considered inappropriate, and when should I report my concerns and observations?
Safety of Children
Preschools are required to have a set of comprehensive guidelines on child guidance and behaviour management. Disciplinary actions such as corporal punishment, humiliation, intimidation or even physical restriction of movements are prohibited. If there are concerns, we encourage you to share your concerns with the preschool management to allow them to follow-up on the matter. You can also contact ECDA at our hotline at 6735 9213 or email at contact@ecda.gov.sg.
