Preschools are required to install CCTVs in all areas in their premises which are used by children.

The mandatory installation of CCTVs in preschools is to:

• Enhance preschools' security by deterring unauthorised persons from entering during and after operation hours.

• Strengthen trust and transparency between preschools and parents by demonstrating preschools' commitment to the safety and well-being of the children under their charge.

• Provide objective evidence to support investigations in the event of an incident, giving parents and preschool staff greater peace of mind.
