Excursions and learning journeys are extension of preschools' programmes to reinforce children's learning and the frequency of such events are determined by the preschools. Parents should approach preschools directly to discuss the purpose of the excursions and share concerns on the frequency directly. Participation for field trips is optional and preschools should arrange for staff to supervise children who opt out of field trips.
