My Declaring Agent has to declare an individual permit to obtain an approval to transact strategic goods. Can he/ she declare without the vessel details and container number?
For strategic goods permits, amendments to flight details such as the departure date, container number and vessel details (which are mandatory information in the TradeNet permit declaration) may be made after the permit application is approved. Declaring Agents (DA) may declare dummy data in the amendable permit fields, and amend the permit details after approval. However, please note that amendments of certain permit fields may be subject to the approval of the relevant controlling agencies, if any, and information such as the departure date may only be amended before utilization of the permit.
