There are three types of Carnets available. The ATA Carnet is meant for temporary import/export of commercial samples, professional equipment, and exhibition items (excluding alcohol and tobacco).
The AIT CPD Carnet is specifically for temporary import of vehicles for touring purposes only.
The BOFT Carnet is similar to the ATA Carnet but is exclusively for use between Taiwan and Singapore.
Choose the appropriate Carnet based on the nature of your goods and their intended use. For most international temporary imports/exports, the ATA Carnet is typically used.
