What are the procedures to clear old documents from Changi Airfreight Centre for disposal?
GST relief is granted for the importation of commercial, shipping and airline documents, personal documents, press photographs or negatives, news write-ups, news clippings, news films or news transcription tapes. A customs permit is not required for the import of such documents or items.
You are required to present all relevant shipping documents for the movement of the documents such as bill of lading, delivery note and packing list to the checkpoint officers for their verification.
