What activities are permissible within the Free Trade Zones?
The primary purpose of the Free Trade Zones (FTZ) is to facilitate entrêpot trade by providing duty and GST suspension as well as transient warehousing for the import, export and transhipment of goods through Singapore.
For the list of prohibited activities in the FTZ, you may wish to refer to the Free Trade Zones Act (Chapter 114).
