What is the application process for TradeFIRST?

Updated by CUSTOMS

For a company to be assessed under TradeFIRST, it must first express interest in a scheme or facilitation administered by Singapore Customs. The subsequent assessment process involves four steps:

• Customs provides the company with a Self-Assessment Checklist;

• the company completes the checklist and submits it with supporting documents;

• Customs conducts an on-site assessment; and

• the company receives its application outcome, including its assigned band and areas for improvement, determining the facilitation and schemes it can access.

If a company does not have any schemes or facilitations in mind, but is keen to find out more about how it can benefit from the schemes, please email us at CUSTOMS_Schemes@customs.gov.sg.
