My exporter wishes to export an empty ISO tank with residue. Is a permit required for the exportation?
Generally, an export permit is not required for the export of reusable empty freight containers and ISO tanks for use in the conveyance of goods from Singapore. This does not include new and sales of ISO tanks to overseas.
If the recycled ISO tank contains any product residue, an export permit must be obtained with the relevant HS code declared for the "residue" accordingly.
