How can I obtain a Certificate of Origin (CO) for intangible goods (e.g. software, blueprint)?
We do not issue Certificates of Origin (COs) for intangible goods. However, if the goods are carried on a physical medium (e.g. CD, paper), the manufacturer may apply for a CO for the physical medium carrying the intangible goods that fulfil the relevant requirements (including the applicable Rules of Origin (ROO)) of the CO scheme or Free Trade Agreement (FTA) concerned.
