Can locally-acquired goods be stored in a Zero-GST area to enjoy GST suspension?
The Zero-GST warehouse only allows GST suspension on imported goods. Locally-acquired goods cannot be stored in a Zero-GST area.
To optimise warehouse space, you may write in to Singapore Customs to rezone the Zero-GST area to store locally-acquired goods in the non-designated areas of the same warehouse premises.
Your inventory system must possess the capabilities to differentiate the locally-acquired goods from the imported GST-suspended goods and identify their exact locations.
