I have local goods that were sent to the Free Trade Zone (FTZ) for export. An item was wrongly stuffed into the container. How can I truck the container out from the FTZ? Goods were in the FTZ for less than a day.
The container may be trucked out of the Free Trade Zone (FTZ) within the same day of the container's entry into the FTZ. The importer or his appointed freight handling agent is required to produce the following supporting documents to the checkpoint officers for verification during cargo clearance:
• A cover letter stating reasons for the re-importation;
• Delivery note;
• Commercial invoice; and
• Other relevant supporting documents.
