What value should I declare for export? The invoice shows Free Carrier (FCA) incoterm.
For the purpose of obtaining an export permit, the value declared for the goods is based on its Free on Board (FOB) value, excluding freight and insurance charges.
The FOB value may include any charges (excluding freight and insurance) such as packing fee, fumigation fee, or repair fee. If any of these charges form part of the selling price and are billed to the overseas buyer, these charges should be included in the FOB value declared in the export permit application.
