When should we submit the Manufacturing Cost Statement (MCS)?
A Manufacturing Cost Statement (MCS) should be submitted by the local manufacturer to verify that the products meet the Rules of Origin under the specific Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and is considered originating from Singapore. After verification, the exporter will be able to take out a Preferential Certificate of Origin to claim preferential tariff treatment in the importing country.
