What should I indicate under the BG indicator field when applying for a permit?
If a Declaring Agent (DA) has been authorised to use a Declaring Entity's security, the authorised DA may select "I" (for importer/exporter) under the "BG Indicator" field to make use of the Declaring Entity's security for the permit application. If the "BG Indicator" field is "D" or left blank, the DA's security will be used.
