My mother is on a long-term visit pass. She made a few purchases using my credit card during her stay in Singapore. Can she still claim GST refund?
Please note that all pass holders are not eligible for the Tourist Refund Scheme.
You are not entitled to claim Goods and Services Tax (GST) refund if you are a pass holder on the date of purchase, at any time within the period of 3 months immediately before the date of purchase or on the date you submit your GST claims.
For more information, please refer to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) website.
