Our office is located in the Free Trade Zone (FTZ). We wish to transfer our office equipment to a new office located outside FTZ. Do we need to take up a permit?
Please note that GST-paid goods that are brought into a Free Trade Zone (FTZ) for storage or other purposes will be subject to import procedures and payment of duty and/or GST if they are subsequently brought back into Customs Territory.
For such movements of goods, an In-Payment permit is required to account for the importation of the goods and payment of GST and/or duty.
