Can freight forwarder use IATA freight charge to derive the CIF value instead of using actual freight rate?
Trader may use the flat rates provided by Singapore Customs for freight and insurance to compute the customs value of imports only when the actual freight charge and insurance charges are not known to the importer at the time of import. The flat rates can be found on our website.
