What is the reason for imposing duty on diesel with sulphur content of 10ppm or less?
The imposition of duty on diesel with sulphur content of 10ppm or less is in accordance with the Environmental Protection and Management Act. Under the Environmental Protection and Management Act, diesel with sulphur content of 10ppm or less are allowed for use in Singapore.
