How can I be assured that a new strategic goods which I plan to export to a potential customer will be approved?
You may seek advice from Singapore Customs on whether the export of your new product is likely to be approved when the relevant permit application is made by submitting an Application for Preliminary Advice on Strategic Goods Transactions.
However, please note that the pre-assessment provided earlier may not necessarily stand at the point of the actual permit application since the sensitivity of a strategic goods transaction may escalate over time due to several factors.
