I wish to send my craft to Singapore for repair. What are the procedures required?

Updated by CUSTOMS

You may engage a local freight agent to obtain an In-Non Payment (Temporary Consignment) permit in order to temporarily import the craft into Singapore.

After the repairs, your appointed agent should obtain the corresponding 'OUT' (Temporary Consignment) permit to cover the export of the craft. Please note that the respective 'IN' and 'OUT' permits must be obtained prior to the import and export movements.

The craft must be exported within the given temporary import period. GST will not be levied for such imports.
