Can GST relief be granted on the importation of a yacht as personal effects?
Please note that a yacht is not considered as a personal effect or household article. No import relief will be granted.
The importer should appoint a Declaring Agent who is registered as a TradeNet user with Singapore Customs to obtain an In-Payment "GST (including Duty Exemption)" permit to import the yacht.
