The Best Practices are guidelines meant to help the Transporters identify non-LVG. By following the guidelines, it may reduce the Transporters’ risk of having to rectify for errors and pay import GST subsequently for non-payment permits taken up.

Investigations would be conducted on the errors made and the outcome of the investigations, including imposition of penalties, would be determined on a case by case basis
