Do I have to pay Goods and Services Tax (GST) for goods imported by sea freight or land?

Updated by CUSTOMS

Yes. All goods brought into Singapore are subjected to Goods & Services Tax (GST) at the prevailing rate on the value of goods, which may include the Cost, Insurance and Freight (CIF) plus other chargeable costs and the duty payable (if applicable).

Please note that there is no GST relief for goods imported by sea freight and land unless otherwise specified here.
