I have made a mistake in my permit application and have submitted a new one. What should I do with the original permit?

If your new permit application has been approved, you should cancel the first permit if it is within the permit's validity period and the permit has not been utilised for cargo clearance, or paid (for payment permits).

If the payment permit cannot be cancelled and has been paid, you may apply for a refund.

You may refer to Customs website for more information on permit cancellation for import, export and transhipment permits.
