Our company appealed for donations of medical supplies for disaster relief. Do we have to pay GST for the import of such goods?

Updated by CUSTOMS
Under the Goods & Service Tax (Import Relief) Order, you do not have to pay GST for the import of medical supplies for overseas distribution (for the purpose of disaster relief).

You are required to obtain an In-Non Payment (INP-TCO) permit to account for the importation of the goods, and a subsequent OUT (TCO) permit to re-export your medical supplies.
