I imported less than the quantity I declared in the Import Certificate (IC). Am I required to cancel the IC and re-apply for a new one?
You cannot cancel an Import Certificate (IC) after importing the items under the IC.
For example, after importing 80 pieces of an item instead of 100 pieces declared in your IC, you should notify Singapore Customs in writing to request for the cancellation of the remaining 20 pieces.
Please state the reason for not importing the remaining pieces and forward a copy of the export licence to Singapore Customs.
