What is the difference between an Import Permit and an Import Certificate?
An import permit allows goods to be released from Singapore Customs' checkpoints.
An Import Certificate (IC) allows a foreign supplier to obtain an export licence that will facilitate the import of goods from the exporting country into Singapore. It is subject to the export control in the exporting country.
