Are there any labelling requirements for the tax-exempted wine used for approved wine events?
For ease of identifying the duty & GST exempted wines, good quality temper-proof, non- removable and non-reusable stickers must be affixed on the body (not the cap, base or elsewhere) of the exempted bottles. The stickers shall show the name and year of the exhibition, and the word "Sampling" printed (handwritten stickers are not allowed to be used). Event organisers for wine events approved by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) may provide the sample stickers via email to the informed Customs Point of Contact.
