My warehouse is in Jurong Fishery Port. Can I apply for a transhipment permit to move a shipment from Jurong Free Trade Zone (FTZ) to my warehouse for storage before transhipment?
Jurong Fishery Port (JFP) is not a Free Trade Zone (FTZ). You are not allowed to store the GST unpaid items in your warehouse at JFP before transhipment.
You may store the goods in Jurong FTZ or move them to another FTZ for storage under a Customs Transhipment permit.
You may also remove and store them in a Zero-GST warehouse under an In-Non-Payment "Approved Premises/Schemes (APS)" permit.
