There is a bank deduction by Customs with permit number as the reference. Who is the Declaring Agent who declared the permit? Can I have a copy of the permit?
You may check with your authorised Declaring Agent to verify if they had applied permit for you. Payment can be made from your Inter-Bank GIRO (IBG) only if you had authorised the Declaring Agent and applied payment permit on your behalf. If you have signed up the free Trader Notification service, the registered contact would receive the notification which showed the name of the Declaring Agent when a permit is approved. If you are a registered TradeNet user, you may access TradeNet to view the permit details. Please check with the Declaring Agent to request for a copy of the permit.
