I want to self-propel my yacht to Singapore, and thereafter continue to another country for leisure purposes. What are the relevant procedural requirements?
No Customs permit is required by the importer or person in charge for self-propelled boats arriving in Singapore for pleasure, recreation, sports or other similar events and leaving by the vessels own power. However, if the boat is sold, disposed of or transferred locally, the import GST will be payable to Singapore Customs.
