Can I extend the validity of a Customs permit?

Updated by CUSTOMS
The validity period of a Customs permit is determined based on various factors such as the type of goods involved, purpose of import/export, and place of release and receipt.

For non-payment permit, you may apply via TradeNet to extend the validity provided the permit is not utilised and is still valid.

However, for payment permits, any application via TradeNet to extend the validity of the payment permit can only be processed after Singapore Customs has received the payment of the Customs duty/ GST for the permit.
