When an insured passes away, their CareShield Life policy will be terminated immediately. There is no death benefit for CareShield Life, so no payouts will be made upon the insured's passing. Any premiums paid will be refunded to the premium payer's MediSave if the insured passes away within the first 60 days of the first policy year. No premium refund will be made thereafter.
