You can join CareShield Life if you have recovered from your severe disability and are able to perform all Activities of Daily Living¹ independently, regardless of whether you previously received payouts from ElderShield. You may need to undergo a disability assessment, and will be informed by the Agency of Integrated Care if this is required.

 

¹ Activities of Daily Living refers to feeding, dressing, toileting, washing, walking or moving around, and transferring from bed to chair and vice versa.
