When will the Government revise the Per Capita Household Income (PCHI) and Annual Value (AV) thresholds for MediShield Life or CareShield Life Premium Subsidies, and how will I receive the updated premium subsidies?
The Government periodically reviews and updates the Per Capita Household Income (PCHI) and Annual Value (AV) thresholds used to determine subsidy levels and grant support, to ensure households with greater needs receive continued support. The revisions aim to improve affordability and help more households receive the healthcare subsidies and grant support they need, taking into account changes in household incomes and property AVs.
You do not need to take any action for your Premium Subsidies to be updated. Your Premium Subsidies will automatically be applied based on your eligibility under the revised criteria when your policy commences or renews. You can log in to MediShield Life e-Service with your Singpass to check your MediShield Life or CareShield Life Premium Subsidies eligibility.
