How do I apply for Home Protection Scheme (HPS) coverage?
The process to apply for coverage under Home Protection Scheme (HPS) is as follows. Your application will be subject to the Board's approval and you being in good health.
New Flat Owners
| Type of Housing Loan | How to Apply |
| HDB Loan | You will be prompted to apply for an HPS cover when applying to use your CPF savings for the new flat purchase via HDB. You do not need to submit your HPS application form via CPFB. |
| Bank Loan | You may apply for an HPS cover before applying to use your CPF savings for monthly housing instalments via CPFB. |
Existing Flat Owners
| Type of Housing Loan | How to Apply |
| HDB Loan | You will be prompted to apply for an HPS cover when applying to use your CPF savings for monthly housing instalments via HDB. You do not need to submit your HPS application form via CPFB. If you are not applying to use your CPF savings for monthly housing instalment, you may apply for an HPS cover. |
| Bank Loan | If you are applying to use your CPF savings for your monthly housing instalments, or wish to be covered under HPS, you may apply for an HPS cover. |
If you have a previous HPS cover that had lapsed recently, you may apply to reinstate your cover.

Apply to reinstate your HPS cover online with supporting reason and health declaration. Your eligibility to reinstate your previous HPS cover is subject to approval. |

Apply for a new HPS cover with health declaration. Your eligibility for the new HPS cover is subject to approval and you being in good health. |
*You may check your HPS cover end date from the hardcopy lapse letter (Ref: HPS/Lapse) sent to you.
