Why is making MediSave contributions important for self-employed persons?
As a self-employed person, it is important to set aside a portion of your income to build up your MediSave savings. These savings can be used for your healthcare needs such as MediShield Life premiums or hospitalisation costs, helping to safeguard your healthcare expenses especially when you are older or no longer working.
If you are having difficulties making your MediSave contributions, you can request an instalment plan1 for your MediSave contributions via the Manage your MediSave payable form.
1Please note that your request is subject to the Board’s approval. You may be required to provide additional information or supporting documents, if necessary.
