I am eligible for the Matched Retirement Savings Scheme this year. Will I still be eligible if there are changes to my circumstances during the year?
Yes, you will still be eligible for the Matched Retirement Savings Scheme (MRSS) for the year even if your circumstances change (e.g. increase in monthly income) during the year. Your eligibility for MRSS will be assessed next year based on your new circumstances.
However, do note that renouncing your Singapore citizenship during the year will make you ineligible for the scheme and matching grant.
Find out about the conditions which you need to meet to receive and keep the matching grant.
