After my disability status is verified with MSF, how do I apply for the Matched Retirement Savings Scheme (MRSS)?
You do not need to apply for Matched Retirement Savings Scheme (MRSS) after your disability status is verified. We will automatically assess your eligibility yearly at the beginning of each year. If you are below age 55, you will need to have your disability status verified with Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) before 1 November of the current year to be assessed for MRSS eligibility for the next year onwards.
For example, a member age below 55 who had verified his disability status with MSF before 1 November 2025 will have his MRSS eligibility automatically assessed annually from the following year (2026) onwards.
If you are eligible, we will notify you via email or post at the beginning of each year. You can also check your MRSS eligibility via the Retirement Dashboard.
