Why am I not eligible for the Matched Retirement Savings Scheme if my monthly income is above $4,000?

Updated by CPF
The Matched Retirement Savings Scheme is designed to help senior Singapore Citizens with lower retirement savings save more and boost their retirement payouts. The average monthly income of $4,000 will cover most senior workers. If your average monthly income is above $4,000, you will not be eligible for the scheme as it is intended to provide additional support to those who need it the most.
