What happens to my CPF savings if I have unpaid taxes, MediShield Life premiums, CareShield Life premiums or outstanding education loan owed to a CPF member when my account is closed after my renunciation of Singapore citizenship/ permanent residency?

If you have unpaid taxes/MediShield Life premiums/CareShield Life premiums/outstanding education loan owed to a CPF member, we may recover the unpaid amount from your CPF savings when your CPF account is closed.
 
You are encouraged to settle any outstanding liabilities (e.g. insurance, tax and housing liabilities) before your CPF account is closed.
