I am not a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident. How do I apply to withdraw the deceased member’s CPF savings as a nominee?

The application process depends on whether you are applying from Singapore or overseas.

Applying in Singapore 

Please make an appointment to visit the CPF Service Centre

Bring along the following original documents:


  • Identification documents (i.e. Foreign Identity Card, Passport) 
  • Bank statement / Bank passbook / Bank letter with official letterhead showing your full name, identification number, bank name, branch and account number 
Applying from Overseas

Please visit the Singapore Overseas Mission or the Notary Public certified by the Apostille for certification of the following documents:


  • Identification documents (i.e. Foreign Identity Card, Passport) 
  • Bank statement / Bank passbook / Bank letter with official letterhead showing your full name, identification number, bank name, branch and account number 
  • Completed Withdraw Deceased Member’s CPF Savings Application Form (enclosed in our notification)  - Section 3 and 6 to be certified

Please mail the certified documents and application form to:

Upon receiving your application, we will send you an acknowledgement letter

 
Please note the processing timeline of the application (upon receiving all required documents): 
 
  • CPF savings without Singtel Discounted Shares: 17 working days 
  • CPF savings with Singtel Discounted Shares: 17 working days + 7 working days to transfer/sell shares
