I am not a self-employed person. Why did I receive a notice of CPF contributions for self-employed persons from CPF Board?
You will receive a notice of CPF contributions for self-employed persons if you had declared a net trade income (NTI) to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and your NTI1 exceeds $6,000. The notice of CPF contributions will inform you of your mandatory MediSave contributions.
1Excludes net earnings from platform work (if any) declared to CPF Board by your platform operator(s) for work year 2025 onwards.
If you disagree with the assessed income by IRAS, you may approach IRAS for further clarifications.
