What should I do if I want to get advice or make changes to my coverage (e.g. Integrated Shield Plan (IP) and rider) after using the Health Insurance Planner?
After using the Health Insurance Planner, you can download a report containing your personalised projections and Integrated Shield Plan (IP) comparisons for reference during discussions with your insurer or financial advisor.
Please note that the planner's projections are for illustration only and should not be taken as financial advice from CPF Board or Ministry of Health. To make changes to your coverage:
- If you are staying with your current insurer but want to downgrade to a lower ward class IP, no new premium loading or exclusions will apply.
- If you are switching insurers, you may need new medical underwriting, which could result in premium loading, new exclusions, or application rejection.
Before making any changes, please consult your financial advisor to understand all implications.
