CPF Board informs self-employed persons (SEPs) of their MediSave payable via the notice of CPF contributions for self-employed persons.

If SEPs do not respond to the notice of CPF contributions after repeated reminders, CPF Board may issue them a Letter of Demand and Offer which requires them to pay up their outstanding MediSave contributions, together with the payment of the composition amount offered. If there is still no payment, the Board may issue them a Notice to Attend Court (NTA). A sample is appended.

SEPs who are brought to court may face a fine of up to $5,000 or imprisonment of up to six months or both for first time offenders, and up to $10,000 or imprisonment of up to 12 months or both for subsequent offences.
