I am born in 1979 or earlier. Do I need to back pay premiums from age 30 to join CareShield Life?

If you were insured continuously under ElderShield prior to joining CareShield Life, the ElderShield premiums paid will be taken into account when computing your CareShield Life premiums. You do not need to back pay for CareShield Life coverage starting from 30; you will only be paying for coverage going forward.

However, CareShield Life's annual premiums for older insureds will still be higher than those of younger insureds, as they have lesser years to spread their premium payment over.
